Piano and cello lessons are for students of any level, from about age four to adult. Weekly lessons are held either in my home studio or online via video call. Most lessons are 30 minutes per week, but I also offer 45 or 60 minute weekly lessons. Some students will benefit from having 30 minute lessons twice a week.

Recitals: I usually hold recitals two or three times a year. Recitals are opportunities for family members and friends to hear their student perform. Even absolute beginners will be able to prepare recital pieces and perform in a recital very soon after starting lessons. Students are encouraged, but not required, to perform recital pieces from memory.

Some of my students participate in the National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festival in the spring. This is a non-competative, adjudicated event for students under 18 who can read notes at most levels. Contact me if you would like to learn more about entering your child into the next Festival performance. Students will be recognized for achievements and can eventually earn a trophy.
